Sensory Room Design

At TFH, we have been designing and installing Multi Sensory Environments (MSE) and sensory rooms for over 30 years in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, nursing homes, day centers, health centers, development centers, autism programs (for both adults and children), hospices and private homes. This success spans two continents with offices in the USA, UK, Canada and Sweden.
Every sensory room is tailor-made to suit our clients’ requirements. The goal is to provide a sensory room where people of all ages and abilities can benefit in a safe and relaxing environment away from the normal bustle of every day life, be it for the calming of or stimulation of the senses.

Our Process

1

Initial Consultation

We will contact you to review all details of your project. We listen to you and work with you to create a sensory room that fits your goals, population and space.

2

Design

We take the information you provide and create a scaled, computerized design so you can visualize the equipment in your room. We will design until you are happy.

3

Installation

Because our equipment is easy to use and install, most facilities are able to install their multi sensory environments themselves. We will provide an installation guide as well as phone support throughout the installation process.

4

Post Installation Training

We can provide you with training on the use and care of your TFH Multi Sensory Environment equipment. Each room will have a full maintenance manual. We can also provide in-depth training on how to use your MSE equipment effectively with your populations. Contact us for more information.

What our customers Say

Everything is perfect!!! Our brackets were installed today so the projector is safe on the wall and so is the bubble tube! it has been the BIGGEST success...just miraculous watching the kids, particularly the ones with autism. Some of our non-verbal students were saying color words and "fishies" independently!!!! It was just wonderful. My principal was just amazed when he walked in today! He said, "Now I am sorry we just didn't do this sooner."
Tammi K. Hanak, M.A. CCC-SLP/L Speech-Language Pathologist Bower Hill Elementary School
The benefits that the equipment in the Multisensory Environment offer are endless. It offers an area of full sensory experiences that meet the areas of concentration in our program’s sensory diet for our clients.
Cherrie P. Allegheny Valley School
The Multisensory Environment is a place to use as a calming mechanism during transitions and a place to get sensory input as needed throughout the day.” The design service did a great job incorporating all of our needs.
